Happy Halloween! [Hyvää pyhäinpäivää!]

Time to party! Niko is happy it's finally Halloween and he's put on a party at Jake's house for everyone to attend, decking out Jake's apartment in Halloween decorations, making it even more gothic and spooky than usual. Why not have a party at a vampire's house while travelling on tour? It would be fun. Niko had help from some of the other musicians and wanted to surprise Jake with his special costume which he got from a decent store. The Finn dressed in a rather fetching Viking wolf costume which he hoped Jake would like.

There is party food, drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, cakes, sweets and small trick or treat bags for people to take away food if they wanted back to the tour buses.

"Hyvää pyhäinpäivää!"

That translated into "Happy Halloween for the non Finnish speakers.

"Happy Halloween!"

Traditionally, Niko's country celebrated All Saint's Day by lighting candles and remembering the dead that way. Yet, he was here in America and wanted to join in with the customs of many of the others, including dressing up and having a party. As well as food, drink and costumes there is also pumpkin carving available outside the apartment with the pumpkins lined up for people to have a go at.

"Everyone is free to have food, booze, carve pumpkins, party and have fun!"

He had heard that Bjorn had hosted the last Halloween party in LA and this one would be even better, now that there were more people.

Jake had been surprised by the decorations in the living room and then encouraged them to go out and decorate the courtyard he shared with the other apartments. No one in the other apartments would mind. He put Mina and Renfield in the bedroom and closed the door so they wouldn't accidently get out into the courtyard.

Jake of course was fully decked out in full vampire clothing. He ensured there was wine and a wide range of foods, most were out in the courtyard since his kitchen was so small. Andy had brought the wine and Jan who was wearing cat ears, thanks to Jake. Lex was around, not in a costume, because he was a stick in the mud. Jake would find time to harass him. Davy also showed up with sweets and his cousin Corey. Jake hadn't seen Corey in years, not since Davy's dad had abandoned the family but now he was old enough to get away from that side of the family. Anyone who looked at Corey though would know immediately who he was related to.

It felt good to be back in LA, to check on things before the Canada dates started up. Last year, Dee and Jay come to this party dressed in their Kuro costumes, mainly to network and hand out as many demos as possible. This year, they came as fellow musicians and friends.

Tonight, Jay looked like a very dapper gent - top hat, an elaborate tux with coattails, and makeup that made his face look a little like a skull.

His costume didn't make much sense on its own until Dee sat down in his lap.

The singer was dressed formally too - well pressed slacks, a corset vest and bowtie, and his face painted up like a creepy doll.

Jay slid his hand up the back of Dee's vest. "Knock! Knock!"

Dee turned his head with a jerk. "Who’s there?"

"Says."

"Says who?"

"Says me, that’s who!"

Rekker was the only one in the group in a good mood. He was in an amazing mood and laughing despite his lack of costume. A few days ago, Rekker and the others had gotten into a poker game that got intense. Rekker had told them he was going to get two full houses in the night. The slightly drunk, older Sterlings had bet him that he couldn't. Well, they had said he could ask anything he wanted if he was right... and of course Rekker was right. He had gotten two full houses and now Tom, Robert and Martyn were all arriving in their military uniforms. Tom had been collateral damage. It was his brothers he was after and now... now all he had to do was wait for Tordis and Erik to notice. Tom was realizing what was going down and started to laugh too. Rekker was a hellion, even when he seemed innocent.

Mick had to think about what costume he was going to pick when attending the Halloween party at Jake's apartment. He'd thought about the usual scary creatures like werewolves or vampires but this time he wanted to go a little more divine. The guitarist knew a certain wine-loving angel would take note of his costume, as he was now walking towards the bar area for a drink.

He hoped his---skirt? Wasn't too short. Or maybe Ziggy would get a kick out of it. Being an angel made him giggle a little because he was showing off his toned thighs.

"Come let me wrangle you, babe!"

Joe now laughing as he entered the party dressed as a sexy cowboy. Of course he was. How could he not come to the party in a slutty, whorish rather obscene outfit. He had a rope and was waving it towards Aarne suggestively, while drinking down some booze with his free hand.

"This party is fucking awesome!"

A fucking Halloween party? Hell yeah! The young Finn now stumbling around a little because he was drunk on free booze because why not? Where the fuck was his prissy younger brother, Einar anyway? Probably still doing his make-up or something. He'd only arrived a day or so ago into LA and had found this guy's house, which was something out of the Addam's Family.

"Free booze!"

The boy's slightly slurred speech was tinged with a thick Finnish accent. He didn't know it was fancy dress so was dressed in his usual clothes. Travelling on the Ziggy Stardust tour beat being a delivery driver any day.

Whoever thought this was a good idea was total fucking idiot. Sigurd now rolling his eyes as Fredrik clapped a hand over his mouth at what the grouchy bassist was wearing. Fredrik himself dressed as a cute sunflower while Sigurd was dressed as dirty daddy pimp. He knew his brother Karl was getting a big laugh out of this.

"I look fucking ridiculous."

Taking a smoke out of his pocket he lit up and sighed. Why had he even agreed to this? Brat would poke fun too or maybe he'd love it. Fredrik seemed to think it would be the latter.

"You're a dirty old daddy so you look the part!"

Fredrik snorting giggles. Wait until Mikkel saw this!

Jakob was looking around a little awkwardly as he entered Jake's rather impressive apartment, taking in the vampire-themed decor and gothic interior. It really was the perfect venue for a Halloween party.

"Uh, is there food and drink here?"

The boy was shy as usual and even more so tonight because he was dressed up as an astronaut. He thought it would be a fun idea and something different from the usual monsters that people went as. His brother, Felix, had suggested the idea after Jakob originally thought about going as a werewolf. Niko beat him to it tonight.

Isak had thought about what costume he wanted and he'd come up with one he was happy with. It wasn't as fucking trashy as Joe's or some of the others were wearing though, judging by how short Ronno's---skirt thing was. The Swede was used to dressing in skimpy, slutty outfits for his pornos, so this was something above that. Just.

"The devil is in the detail as they say."

The Swede now flaunting his devil costume as he lit up a smoke and was now ready to enjoy the party.

"This place is fucking awesome."

Isak loving Jake's place.

The young drummer had recovered from his injury on one of Jake's mounted wall weapons and was now happy to be dressed up in a costume. He still had a scar from where he'd received stitches because the wound had been a deep laceration, causing significant blood loss. Luckily there was no nerve damage or muscle tear. He was back and wanted to find Tyko to show off his costume which was the prince of darkness. It was a sort of wizard, sorcerer outfit which the blond liked.

"Hej, I'm back! Where is the booze?"

Torvald made a note not to get too drunk and fall back on any of Jake's mounted weapons. He wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

Sven was now shoving Ulrik through the door of Jake's apartment with both men dressed up for the party. It would be fucking hilarious as well as fun tonight! The younger Swede dressed as a ninja while Sven had come as a WWF wrestler of sorts. Ulrik looked a little embarrassed at how his brother had come dressed but Sven was Sven. Of course he'd go as something outrageous and obnoxious. Whatever would his princess make of it?

"You look a little stupid."

Ulrik looking at his brother and snorting out a laugh, hidden behind his ninja's mask. Sven adjusting his head bandanna and grinning, puffing out his muscled chest and hoping Davy would get a good laugh out of it.

"Dee will think you're hot as a ninja."

Sven trying to tickle Ulrik under his arms.

Both Hell's Angels band members were now getting to the party, which was at Jake's, being the gothic vampire "castle" perfect for a Halloween party. Zack was a little shy in his costume dressed as Spider-Man from the comics. He wanted to pick the Tony Stark suit after actually meeting the real man back in the Nexus thanks to Ziggy. His spider shooters now working better than ever.

"You look like a real Spider-Man."

Billy now encouraging his band mate, giggling at his own costume which was done for laughs. He'd come as a giant retro phone.

"Someone push my buttons!"

Zack just snorted under his mask at Billy.

Damien had come to see Zack and thought it might be good for Dominic to see a party. Dominic was calm enough now that while he might be way out of his element but at least he wouldn't panic.

Damien gave the former Ministry, now Dog, a glass of whiskey and left him at the bar on his own. Dominic would figure it out and Damien knew he wouldn't be alone long. Someone would come talk to him as soon as they came looking for a drink.

Dominic though definitely had the out of place feeling of being at a party where he really didn't know anyone, not well anyway. He also had no idea what he was supposed to be doing either. This was his first big party.

It wasn't exactly hard for Harald to pick out a costume because he liked dressing up in his traditional Viking outfit so had picked dark leather and elk fur trim with steel plating. He'd forged some throwing axes himself which were mostly for decoration only because he rarely brought them out except for special occasions. This party was one such occasion. He'd darkened his eyes with charcoal for the effect of a warrior and had platted his hair into a pony tail to match the era of around 850 AD or so.

"Where drink?"

The big Norwegian now stomping into Jake's house, looking quite intimidating to any who didn't know him but to others he was a big snuggly teddy bear.

Of course Felix had to dress trashy, picking out a kinky fireman costume at the local sex shop on the Strip. Andy would surely love it, wouldn't he? Or die laughing or maybe he'd be too shy to admit he liked it? The Swede now walked into the party, axe slung over his shoulder as he wondered where the booze was.

"These fucking kinky spandex shorts are tight around my balls."

Would anyone notice? Felix did catch a distant laugh from somewhere across the room.
