Happy Halloween! [Hyvää pyhäinpäivää!]

Time to party! Niko is happy it's finally Halloween and he's put on a party at Jake's house for everyone to attend, decking out Jake's apartment in Halloween decorations, making it even more gothic and spooky than usual. Why not have a party at a vampire's house while travelling on tour? It would be fun. Niko had help from some of the other musicians and wanted to surprise Jake with his special costume which he got from a decent store. The Finn dressed in a rather fetching Viking wolf costume which he hoped Jake would like.

There is party food, drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, cakes, sweets and small trick or treat bags for people to take away food if they wanted back to the tour buses.

"Hyvää pyhäinpäivää!"

That translated into "Happy Halloween for the non Finnish speakers.

"Happy Halloween!"

Traditionally, Niko's country celebrated All Saint's Day by lighting candles and remembering the dead that way. Yet, he was here in America and wanted to join in with the customs of many of the others, including dressing up and having a party. As well as food, drink and costumes there is also pumpkin carving available outside the apartment with the pumpkins lined up for people to have a go at.

"Everyone is free to have food, booze, carve pumpkins, party and have fun!"

He had heard that Bjorn had hosted the last Halloween party in LA and this one would be even better, now that there were more people.

"You'll learn that he loves to do that but it's not malicious."

Lex knew that was his brother. And He knew he would continue to pick at Gunnar but he would also be the person to immediately claw out someone's eyes if THEY dared to insult Gunnar.

"I'm glad you didn't." Lex shook his head. "You might be strong but he's fast as hell and fights as dirty as Davy does." Lex knew Jake was used to fighting with people. People had been picking on him since he was a kid.

"I know, it's the booze making me feel this way."

The singer never drank and this was the result of getting trashed on strong cocktails with Corey. That dirty young man was after him at first but soon got the idea that Gunnar wasn't interested.

"I've laid men out on the floor for giving me shit but Jake---he's a good man."

Gunnar knew Jake was drunk too so that didn't help with things escalating out of control.

"It's not just you and the booze." Lex mentioned. "He drives Davy to trying to slap him all the time too."

His brother was just a harasser and people who reacted usually kept his attention longer for the harassing.

"I saw some big guys grab Jake once to hit him." Lex started to laugh and kissed Gunnar's shoulder. "You should have seen their faces when he bit them for blood."

Lex would always be amused by that since he had never seen such big men scream like that, like they were in a horror movie and attacked by a monster.

"If you ever do decided to trade blows with him watch for the teeth and claws. If he gets ahold of you, you won't like it." Lex opened the passenger side for Gunnar before going around to drive them back to his place.

"How many men has Davy slapped since joining the tour?"

It was an interesting question and one that Gunnar wanted to know the answer because there must be others aside from Sven. Jake and who else? The Swede didn't want to get into a fight with Jake because those teeth and claws looked fucking sharp.

"I'd rather keep my face thanks."

Gunnar got into the car and wanted to relax.

"Everyone?" Lex snorted a laugh. "You should have seen Tom's face when Davy slapped him and spun on his heels walking away. I don't think he was ready for it."

"I'd rather you did too." Lex mentioned as he started the car. "I'm getting used to waking up to you staring at me."

"Maybe you're right. Fuck---what? Tom? I thought no one would mess with him."

Gunnar had heard that Tom was hard as nails and took no shit from anyone. Didn't that Brit punk, Viktor, get into a fight and refuse to punch him? Something like that. The Swede smiled a little at Lex's words.

"I stare at you when I wake up?"

"He didn't flinch about hitting you. Do you think some short, old Brit, telling him what to do is going to stop him?"

Lex could only laugh. Of course, Tom and Davy had come to terms over that incident and things were fine. Davy didn't like being told what to do. Normally, Tom went toe to toe with the musicians and there were loud voices at most. Davy, on the other hand, had spent his life with his dad getting in his face to tell him what to do. Lex imagined that had triggered Davy to lash out.

"I sleep longer than you do." Lex stopped the car at the end of the driveway and leaned over to give Gunnar a hot kiss. He was a little drunk too and felt, in some ways, that he needed to make up for brushing the Swede off for so long.

"That's true enough. I didn't mean to upset him by being naked and walking around the apartments when I did. I'm just used to being naked with my band mates and they think nothing of it."

Gunnar should have really thought about it more when dealing with new people he'd never met. Davy, being one of them. The harsh slap to his face sent the Swede reeling and he'd felt that stinging sensation for hours after.

"I'm usually awake around 6am everyday to do my usual gym routine."

The Swede held Lex in his big arms while he enjoyed the kiss. Being together like this felt good after being shunned for so long.

"Davy's seen a lot. He doesn't mean to act that way but the trauma causes him to lash out."

That was the truth of the matter. Davy rarely hated anyone but he sure the hell would express his displeasure immediately.

"I sleep in a lot. I'm used to working late." Lex's usually job was afternoon into evening rather than early in the morning like a lot of people.

He pulled away laughing. "Not only are you a cranky drunk.. you're a horny one too?" Lex could feel it in the way that Gunnar was holding on to him. They could do more than sleep when they got to his place.

"I have no idea what kind of drunk I am because I rarely drink."

Gunnar was being truthful but he didn't like not being in control of his body and thoughts. That part caused him to feel uneasy about being around his friends and getting emotional through booze.

"You know I was a drink's server before I became a singer. Just to get money when I was a teen."

The waiting on tables had earned the young Swede some cash because he had no qualifications or school grades.

"I can tell by how you pressed your hand into my back." There was a way that Gunnar wrapped his arms around Lex that he had learned said that the Swede was interested in continuing.

"Davy waited tables as a teen too." Lex wanted Gunnar to feel like things were normal. "I don't imagine you got fired for slugging a guy in the face for grabbing your ass because he thought you were a hot girl."

Lex had started driving again. His apartment wasn't very far away from Jake's so the drive wouldn't be long.

Gunnar pulled Lex close for another kiss before letting him go back to driving. He didn't like talking about his past much because he always thought it was a let down with him being not academically inclined.

"He did? No, if someone pinched my ass I'd thrown them across the room. No one would mistake me for a girl unless they were fucking blind."

The Swede just laughed loudly and sat back in his chair, trying to stretch out his legs a bit more. Lex's car wasn't really designed for two taller men.

Lex grinned because he could certainly tell the Swede was interested in more than a nap.

"Davy used to look more feminine than he does now." Lex shook his head. "I'm sure a girl would have tried though." Lex winked at Gunnar. Of course neither of them would tolerate that now. Lex was tall but no, it wasn't made for someone Gunnar's size.
