Gunnar was stubborn and giving up wasn't in the Swede's nature at all. He was going to follow Lex around until the American gave in and resigned himself to the fact that the Swede really liked him. Was it selfish? Foolhardy? Maybe. Gunnar knew it had been worth it though.
"You run? I can see it in your body. Do you work out at the gym?"
The big Swede's body wasn't built for running, more heavy lifting.
